Job Summary
Forecast monthly manufacturing financial results and lead annual budgeting with ongoing variance analysis. Design KPI dashboards, prepare ROI analyses for capital spending, and present financial outcomes to Corporate Leadership. Implement internal controls for inventory management, oversee cycle counting programs, and drive process improvements across departmental P&Ls. Lead corporate financial audits, end-of-year inventory engagements, and tax abatement efforts for capital projects. Interpret contracts to reduce risk and perform special ad hoc analysis as needed. This role reports to the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at our Glendale Heights facility, requiring a BA/BS in Accounting and 5+ years of plant financial experience.
Required Qualifications
- BA / BS in Accounting or related field
- 5 years' experience in a plant financial position
- Proven experience in driving process improvement
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent project management abilities, capable of prioritizing and handling multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget parameters
- Well-developed written and oral presentation skills
- Ability to coach and communicate with non-accounting professionals
- Ability to collaborate and influence cross-functionally
- Energized by fast paced environment
- Great relationship management abilities
- MS Office and ERP system proficiency required
- Bachelor's Degree
