Plant Controller

Job Summary
Provide financial and analytical support to the Plant Manager and staff, managing daily checkbook operations and leading the annual budget process. Organize financial vision strategies aligned with corporate direction and GAAP compliance while measuring key metrics to monitor budgeting and forecasting. Prepare all internal financial reports, tax packages, and cost accounting statements, presenting results against the annual business plan to initiate corrective actions. Maintain risk management-based internal controls and drive continuous improvement across the operation. Based at the Pottstown, PA facility, this role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in senior accounting, reporting on trends impacting the plant.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field
- 5+ years of experience in senior level accounting or finance role
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high degree of accuracy
- Financial reporting regulation knowledge, including U.S. GAAP
- Strong analytical skills and proven aptitude for numbers
- Financial reporting system knowledge
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to influence, escalate issues and ideas, and persuade cross-functional executives and managers and positively manage conflict
- Strong analytical and reasoning capabilities to anticipate and identify operational opportunities, risks and problems, analyze variances from plan, and develop timely action plans to achieve operating goals
