Job Summary
Oversee preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets, while leading month-end and year-end closing processes. Perform complex reconciliations for inventory, intercompany transactions, and revenue recognition, and assist in developing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Analyze financial data to review variances between actual results and budgeted targets, providing recommendations for cost-saving initiatives and process improvements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and support audit preparations by liaising with external auditors. This full-time role offers a base salary of $110,000-$125,000 plus bonus and benefits starting day 1.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4 plus years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial analysis
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and lead a project team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus but not mandatory
- All Microsoft Office products proficiency desired
