Job Summary
Oversee preparation and analysis of financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets, while leading month-end and year-end closing processes. Perform complex reconciliations for inventory, intercompany transactions, and revenue recognition, and assist in developing annual budgets and quarterly forecasts. Analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making, review variances between actual results and budgeted targets, and provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives. Ensure compliance with accounting principles and industry standards, support audit preparations, and lead process improvement initiatives within the finance department. This full-time role is based in Paris, IL, with a base salary range of $110,000-$125,000 plus bonus. Candidates require a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 4 plus years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) and financial analysis
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and lead a project team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus but not mandatory
- All Microsoft Office products proficiency desired
