Plant Controller

Job Summary
Lead financial operations for the Lincolnton plant, serving as a key business partner to plant leadership to drive cost efficiency, provide strategic insights, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Responsible for variance analysis, cost performance across direct labor, materials, and overhead, internal controls, inventory governance (cycle counts and valuation), long-term scenario planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Build and mentor a high-performing plant finance team, partnering with operations to translate data into actionable insights and support decision-making. Interfaces with European HQ and supports legal entity reporting requirements, while maintaining governance and compliance. Proficient in cost accounting, manufacturing finance principles, ERP systems (SAP preferred), and advanced Excel for financial modeling and reporting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence across all levels of the organization; able to operate both strategically and tactically to balance execution with forward-looking planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 8 years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

- Post-Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
- CMA or CPA certification
