Job Summary
Coordinate and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, overseeing financial statements and filings in compliance with GMP. Conduct ad hoc analyses of plant finances, develop internal controls, and lead audits of policies to preserve assets. Manage budgeting, cash management, and AP/AR oversight while ensuring accurate reporting and strong internal controls. Advise staff on non-routine transactions and contribute to cross-functional initiatives as a strategic business partner. This role requires balancing hands-on accounting responsibilities with team leadership in a collaborative manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting
- 10 years related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3+ years as an Accounting Manager or Controller
- PC proficient
- Quickbooks experience
- Microsoft Excel experience
