Job Summary
Plant Care Specialist visits customer sites daily to care for plants, performing tasks such as grooming, watering, pruning, debris removal, soil moisture checks with a soil probe, and fertilizing as needed. Maintains plant/display cleanliness, prevents water/moisture damage to surroundings, assists on plantscape installations (interior/exterior container gardens, wall-mounted systems, etc.), and supports holiday decoration installations with a team. Maintains scenting and air purification equipment as necessary, drives a service van in urban/rural settings, climbs ladders, uses pruning tools, and adheres to safety. Requires ability to read and follow product labels, basic math for mixing products, and strong communication skills. Availability Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed. Licenses/certificates as required by regulations are covered by the employer. The role is full-time with a company vehicle provided and route-based responsibilities alongside opportunities for career growth within the Rentokil Ambius family.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (related experience and/or training)
- Valid driver's license
- Experience caring for plants preferred
- Ability to follow product label instructions
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, local regulations (covered by company)
