Plant Care Specialist

Job Summary
Plant Care Specialist visits customer sites to care for plants, performing tasks such as grooming, rotating, watering, pruning, removing debris from planters, and measuring soil moisture with a soil probe, then fertilizing as needed. Maintains plant displays to be free of dust and debris, keeps containers clean, prevents water/moisture damage, recognizes plant health issues, and communicates additional product needs. Assists on plantscape installations (interior/exterior container gardens, wall-mounted systems, commercial plantscapes) and on holiday decoration installations. Maintains scenting and air purification equipment; works with a team on installations; drives a service van/truck; climbs ladders safely; uses pruners/scissors; must have a valid driver’s license and be available Monday–Friday and Saturdays as needed. Requires a high school diploma or GED (or related experience/training), licenses as required by law, and strong reading/writing/verbal communication and basic math skills. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid driver's license
- Experience caring for plants is preferred
- License/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (covered by us)
- Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
- Basic math skills
