Plant Business Manager

Job Summary
Plant Business Manager will collaborate with plant leaders, asset managers and internal customers to optimize business objectives and operational performance. Responsible for analysis, consolidation, and presentation of financial and operational data for multiple gas plants, driving process improvements and effective decision-making through reports, dashboards, and scorecards. Oversees monthly close, budgeting, variance analysis, and maintenance of plant accounting records. Serves as Plant Business Process owner for plant policies, ensures SOX compliance, coordinates with FP&A and engineering teams, and leads cross-functional initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and performance. Requires strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency with standard software and specialized tools (e.g., PowerSam, SAP, Maximo, PowerGADS), and the ability to translate data into actionable business information. Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license and 5–8 years of related experience with governance of accounting standards and budgets. Physical duties include working in office and plant environments, with travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering
- 5 years related business experience including demonstrated knowledge and experience of accounting standards and principles by preparing and managing operating budgets
- OR 8 years related business experience including demonstrated knowledge and experience of accounting standards and principles by preparing and managing operating budgets
