Job Summary
Design, program, and optimize Allen-Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA, and automated control systems supporting high-speed manufacturing operations. Lead engineering projects from planning through implementation, including budgeting, commissioning, vendor coordination, and documentation. Partner with maintenance and production teams to improve equipment reliability through troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis. Support continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging production data, SQL reporting, and system integration while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering and 5+ years of plant automation experience. Salary range is $110-120k. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of plant engineering, automation, or manufacturing engineering experience in an industrial environment
- Experience programming Allen-Bradley PLCs using RSLogix 5000/Studio 5000 and supporting Rockwell FactoryTalk HMI/SCADA systems
- Proven project management skills
- Strong communication
- Ability to collaborate across engineering, maintenance, and production teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing, high-speed packaging, or another regulated manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of SQL
- Knowledge of Ignition SCADA
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies
