Job Summary
Plant Associate unloads waste from incoming vehicles, decontaminates cargo areas, stages waste for scanning and processing, scans waste into Biotrack for recordkeeping, loads autoclave bins or incinerator hopper, operates tub wash lines and sprayers, decontaminates vehicles’ cargo area, ensures floors are dry and spills are addressed, and maintains housekeeping as assigned. The role requires following health and safety directives and performance standards, and may involve standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, reaching, grasping, repetitive motions, and outdoor/indoor work conditions. Preferred qualification includes a Valid Driver's Licence. Base pay is $19.50/hour (~$40,560/year).
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of experience, preferably in plant environment
- Ability to communicate effectively and understand and follow health and safety directives and performance and conduct standards, policies and procedures that apply to the role and location.
