Job Summary
Stand at a conveyor belt station performing quality control on mixed recyclables. Quickly identify non-conforming items for removal and safely place them into designated chutes or bins. Complete general warehouse cleanup and processing equipment cleanup at the end of each shift. This role requires familiarity with basic personal protective equipment and the ability to stand for long periods while handling objects up to 40 pounds. Previous experience in an industrial recycling facility is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Familiarity with the use of basic Personal Protective Equipment like a hard hat, reflective vest, steel toe boots, ear and eye protection, utility gloves, and arm
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long period of time
- Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an industrial recycling facility preferred
