Job Summary
Start and operate cast line equipment by engaging the feed, observing the process, and assisting with changeovers. Inspect completed pieces against customer standards, adjust controls to ensure product compliance, and perform assigned preventative maintenance and minor repairs. Coach assistants and helpers by providing clear instructions, while recording quality and production metrics via written methods within deadlines. Execute all tasks adhering to a safety-first mentality and IPS lean manufacturing skills, including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for up to 12 hours. This role supports IPG's global team in developing innovative protective packaging solutions, fostering a culture of safety, integrity, and teamwork within a sustainable manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ Years in a Manufacturing Environment experience
- Intermediate math skills
- English written communication skills
- General computer knowledge
- Experience handling paperwork
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours at a time
- Ability to work in space limited work area on continuous basis
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 lbs on a consistent basis
- Ability to perform the physical aspects of the role following recommended practices, with an emphasis on safety and injury prevention
