Job Summary
Manage the monthly financial close for the Rossford AA facility, including balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, standard cost updates, and annual budget development. Deliver daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reporting alongside cost/financial analysis to drive operational performance and cost reduction initiatives. Serve as the local contact for all AP-related inquiries while enforcing accounting policies and statutory regulations. Collaborate cross-functionally with plant leadership, production, and engineering to support business objectives and special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related fields
- Working knowledge of inventory and accounting systems
- Understanding of cost absorption
- Understanding of standard costing
- Understanding of GAAP
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Proficient with Microsoft Word
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Customer focused
- Willing to learn the business and get involved
- Ability to work independently
- Strong Analytical Skills
- Well developed interpersonal skills
- Well developed verbal skills
- Well developed writing skills
Desired Qualifications
- MBA
