Job Summary
Manage the monthly financial close for the Rossford AA operation, including balance sheet and income statement reconciliations, standard cost updates, and annual budget development. Provide cost and financial analysis to drive operational improvements and lead cost reduction initiatives by identifying and tracking opportunities. Produce daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports while serving as the local contact for all accounts payable questions. Adhere to corporate accounting policies, financial controls, and safety leadership behaviors. Works cross-functionally with plant management, engineering, and supply chain to support business objectives and special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related fields
- Working knowledge of inventory and accounting systems
- Understanding of cost absorption
- Understanding of standard costing
- Understanding of GAAP
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Proficient with Microsoft Word
- Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint
- Customer focused
- Willing to learn the business and get involved
- Ability to work independently
- Strong Analytical Skills
