Job Summary
Conduct evaluations and analyze materials, products, and processes using quality techniques to ensure conformance to engineering and manufacturing standards. Perform inspections on purchased and manufactured products, maintain calibration standards and inspection records, and execute calibrations for electrical and mechanical test equipment. Lead qualification and capability studies while providing support in problem identification and resolution. No supervisory responsibilities. Requires a high school diploma, forklift license, and ability to lift 25 pounds, stand long periods, and work in a plant environment with exposure to lead and fiberglass.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to do basic math
- Ability to read, write, and understand the local language
- Possess a valid forklift driver's license
- Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds/11.5 kilos on occasions
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Employees are responsible for wearing the required Personal Protective Equipment in the proper manner at all times
- Must be able and willing to work varying schedules which may include nights, weekends, and public holidays
- Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead
Desired Qualifications
- 4-year technical degree or 2 years quality experience in a manufacturing environment
