Job Summary
Planning Supervisor sought to lead the Master Production Scheduling (MPS), material planning, and delivery assurance in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include driving the MPS, ensuring forecasts and capacity plans inform material availability and policies, collaborating with Value Stream Analyst on rough-cut capacity, coordinating with Material Planning on supplier impact, communicating capacity needs and staffing requirements, participating in customer delivery meetings, owning KPI and inventory metrics, and supervising 7-9 planning professionals. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business or planning discipline and five to seven years of related experience. Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills are essential, along with the ability to manage schedules, monitor performance, and contribute to process improvements.
