Job Summary

Develop and maintain four active weekly maintenance schedules for multiple trade disciplines, prioritizing tasks to maximize equipment availability and production performance. Collaborate with operations, reliability, and supply chain teams to coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance while ensuring compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements. Monitor schedule execution, update asset information in the CMMS, and lead weekly schedule meetings to drive continuous improvement. Work a rotating eight-day on, six-day off schedule at the Blackwater Mine site in British Columbia, maintaining a clean-shaven appearance for PPE safety.

Required Qualifications

  • Class 5 driver's license
  • Willingness to learn new work processes in a high paced industrial setting
  • Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 1 week on 1 week off rotation
  • Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team
  • Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to prioritize competing maintenance requirements
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Team-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
  • May be required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance (i.e. no facial hair) to ensure the safe and effective use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) associated with assigned duties

Desired Qualifications

  • 2 years of maintenance planning and scheduling experience
  • Experience using CMMS systems (Pronto)
  • Proficient computer skills, including competency in using Microsoft Office products
  • Strong understanding of fixed plant equipment and maintenance practices
  • Gold mining or mineral processing experience
  • Demonstrate knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements specific to remote sites
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and documentation
  • Data analysis and reporting capabilities
