Job Summary
Coordinate commercial aspects of refinery operations, including feedstock selection, product placement, and supply chain optimization. Develop and execute production plans using linear programming models while adjusting for demand and margin changes. Analyze historical data to identify trends and backcast scenarios to evaluate past performance and future opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate data, discuss economic drivers, and present findings to stakeholders. Conduct detailed buy-or-make analysis considering cost, quality, and market dynamics. This role reports to the Economics & Planning Manager at the Canton Refinery, focusing on refinery logistics and economics within the Value Chain Optimization team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Two (2) years relevant experience
Desired Qualifications
- Technical Services or Economics & Planning experience
- Chemical Engineering preferred
