Job Summary
Planning Manager to join the @One Alliance for Anglian Water. Lead and influence the Senior Leadership Team; own the planning strategy and ensure successful project execution. Mentor and develop a team of planners, drive accountability and continuous improvement, identify opportunities, mitigate risks, and ensure on-time delivery. Embrace innovation with 4D and Time Chainage planning techniques and communicate progress to stakeholders. The role focuses on developing robust project plans, aligning resources, risk mitigation, and championing health, safety, and wellbeing across planning activities. Requires proven planning experience in major infrastructure projects, strong Primavera P6 expertise, leadership in planning teams, and excellent stakeholder communication. Based in Peterborough, UK (Cambridgeshire).
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in planning major projects, ideally within the water or civil engineering sector
- Strong expertise in Primavera P6 and collaborative planning processes
- Leadership experience in managing and developing planning teams
- Excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Passion for innovation, problem-solving, and strategic decision-making
