Job Summary
Develop and manage a build plan to support customer commitments, including internally manufactured items and supply chain components. Load and manage product and customer forecasts, ensuring timely inputs from Sales and Product Managers for ongoing sales and new product introductions. Execute the build plan to deliver on commitments, identifying gaps and coordinating customer response and recovery. Review capacity and build requirements internally and with suppliers to assure utilization and attainment of the plan. Optimize supply chain programs to execute to customer lead-time expectations while delivering performance within established KPIs such as forecast accuracy and on-time delivery. Analyze and report manufacturing capacities for predicting labor needs and schedule issues. Train, develop, and evaluate employees while adhering to quality system standards. Participate as a member of the Manufacturing management team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, business administration, or related field preferred, equivalent experience considered
- Experience with ERP systems
- Self-motivated with demonstrated ability to collaborate and lead cross-functionally
- Very strong problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills
- Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience leading continuous improvement efforts within production planning and scheduling processes
- Demonstrated skills using MS Office Suite applications, especially Excel
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
