Job Summary
Manage material and production planning to support short-, mid-, and long-term plant needs, aligning demand forecasts with purchasing and inventory targets. Lead capacity analysis, production scheduling, and outsourcing management to meet delivery goals and shorten lead times. Own the full Oracle launch in Operations, prepare monthly and quarterly reports on KPIs, risk inventory, and supplier performance, and drive improvements in lead time, pricing, and sourcing. Oversee team coaching and collaborate with financial departments to execute sales and spending plans. This strategic role prepares you to eventually take over overall Material Planning and Production Planning at the Kulim plant.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Material Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum five (5) years of working experience and team management experience in the related field and manufacturing environment
- At least 10 years experience in material planning, production planning, control and management in foreign invested company
- Good knowledge of material plan, production plan, scheduling, inventory control and production control
- Good data analysis ability and computer application
- Flexibility for trouble shooting
- Good sense of customer service
- Good English ability, both written and oral
- Proactive and highly responsible attitude
- Good leadership skills
- Ability to work under stress
- Good communication skills in both written and verbal
