PLANNING MANAGER (AR)

Job Summary
Manage the Arkansas facility's planning production functions by directing personnel engaged in planning customer demands, developing build schedules, and optimizing available capacity. Oversee Production Planners to establish key performance indicators, measure daily progress against plans, and manage workload and headcount. Interface with customers on order fulfillment activities, lead Sales/Operations meetings to review forecasts versus production plans, and develop site-specific revenue forecasts. Analyze factory operating data to identify production risks, manage recovery plans for missed deliveries, and maintain on-time delivery metrics. Develop production schedules for select accounts while adhering to corporate policies and managing the department budget.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline
- Minimum of four years' experience in demand, inventory, and/or purchasing management
- Strong leadership skills
- Self-motivated with demonstrated organizational skills
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously in a timely manner in a fast-paced environment
- Sound written and oral communication skills
- Ability to write and understand routine reports
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to speak effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to relate to and work with diverse groups of people
- Must have knowledge of use and operation of standard office equipment
- Familiarity with commonly used email

- Four years' supervisory experience including technical development
- Four years' supervisory experience including motivating
- Four years' supervisory experience including conducting performance appraisals
- Four years' supervisory experience including assignment and monitoring of goals and objectives
- Advanced Degree in Materials or Operations Management
- Ten-plus years' experience in demand or materials management
- Six-plus years' management experience
- C.P.M., C.P.I.M., or a related certification
- Experience in Contract Manufacturing and EMS industry
- Experience supporting an offshore manufacturing facility
