Job Summary
Lead supply planning, inventory management, and resource management in the regional distribution center or local Sales organization. Drive planning initiatives to improve customer on-time delivery and lead time while ensuring adherence to inventory and supply plans. Own the site supply planning process, providing visibility of supply capacity and local objectives into the Sales and Operations Planning process. Run short-term planning or Sales & Operation Execution processes to ensure seamless alignment between planning and execution. Support the profitable execution of customer orders in coordination with business functions and Supply units. This role contributes to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon, focusing on customized production processes and engineering change management within an Engineer-to-Order environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering, Business Administration or Electronics
- 9+ years of experience in Production Planning, Procurement, Materials Planning, Supply Chain, or Manufacturing Operations within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in Engineer-to-Order (ETO) and/or Make-to-Order (MTO) manufacturing environments with knowledge of customized production processes and engineering change management
- Extensive hands-on experience using ERP systems, preferably SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA, for MRP execution, production planning, procurement, inventory management, purchase order processing, and reporting
- Strong understanding of Production Planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Inventory Management, Procurement Processes, Capacity Planning, and Manufacturing Operations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate planning data, identify risks, and implement timely corrective actions
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across Manufacturing, Engineering, Customer Service, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis, reporting, KPI monitoring, and planning tools
- Advanced English Level
