Job Summary
Planning Data Specialist performs daily data quality reviews of LYNX fare system data to ensure proper ridership and revenue assignment by route; assists in preparing management and Board reports; compiles data for the National Transit Database (NTD); develops processes to ensure data integrity across LYNX data systems; oversees GIS installations and creates/maintains ArcGIS datasets and highly effective presentational maps; supports cross-departmental data integration and develops data visualization tools to make planning data accessible to internal and external stakeholders; requires strong knowledge of ArcGIS Desktop/Online, databases, and data analysis, with experience in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Planning, Geography, Public or Business Administration, or related field
- three years of relevant experience with data analysis or ArcGIS
- Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- GIS Professional Certificate
- Experience with Tableau/Power BI/ArcGIS visualization suites
