Job Summary
Planning and Scheduling Assistant provides admin and technical support to the Production Planner, maintaining production schedules (materials, labor, delivery dates), tracking inventory, and resolving production issues to keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities include coordinating with production, engineering, and purchasing departments to ensure smooth production flow, identifying potential shortages, and handling issues such as delays, quality problems, and equipment breakdowns. Requires an associate degree in a related field and 1-2 years in production planning or scheduling; strong analytical and communication skills; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in production planning or scheduling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
