Job Summary

Planning and Materials Manager is responsible for overseeing planning, purchasing, storage, and distribution of materials; maintaining optimal inventory levels; coordinating with procurement, production, warehouse, and logistics teams; ensuring inventory accuracy and timely production scheduling; managing supplier relationships and delivery performance; driving process improvements to reduce waste and costs; leading and developing materials and warehouse staff; and onboarding new projects/products while supporting pre-press teams to ensure successful execution. Requires leadership experience in a production/warehouse setting, strong analytical and communication skills, and a bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in the field
  • Prior supervisory/leadership experience in a production or warehouse environment
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse software
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Bachelor's Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred)
  • Experience in a print/direct mail environment (preferred)
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software including Excel
