Job Summary
In this role as a Planning and Delivery Leader, you will serve as the primary interface between Rolls-Royce and designated suppliers to ensure the timely availability of materials for production and overhaul schedules. Key responsibilities include leading supplier performance reviews, managing inventory optimization, analyzing material requirements through MRP systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain delivery performance. The position requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Manufacturing, and Engineering, along with proficiency in supply planning principles and MRP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in planning, procurement, or supply chain roles, preferably within aerospace, automotive, or high-tech manufacturing industries.
- Strong understanding of MRP systems (SAP or equivalent) and supply planning principles.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working in a multicultural and matrix organization.
- Business-level proficiency in both English and Japanese is required.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in supplier technical assurance within aerospace or related industries.
- Familiarity with Rolls-Royce Production System (RRPS), DMAIC, or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience with SAP ERP or similar enterprise planning systems.
- Knowledge of aerospace materials, parts procurement, or supplier development practices.
- Project management experience or certification (PMP, Lean Six Sigma) is an advantage.
- Exposure to global supply chains and international supplier networks.
- Japanese language capability.
