Job Summary
Complete daily data entry and filing tasks for the Planning department using MRP and CRM systems. Verify data integrity, proofread entries, and create or maintain job/work orders based on production demand. Track part status through various departments, interact with Engineering to prioritize processing, and communicate schedule impacts in a timely manner. Participate in production meetings, assist with shipping documentation, and manage material release requests. Comply with safety regulations and wear required PPE in a manufacturing environment involving moving equipment, chemicals, and high noise levels. Work overtime as needed to support established customer commitments.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED equivalent
- Must possess a keen attention to detail
- Ability to listen and follow instructions
- Successfully manage frequently changing priorities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to differentiate shades and color to identify coating defects
- Near acuity or accommodation required for reading instrumentation and documentation, dial and digital gauges, blueprints, and precision measuring instruments used in the inspection of coating operations
- Ability to handle delicate parts
- Ability to use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent exposure to hazardous materials commonly used in a manufacturing environment (i.e., safety glasses and shoes, gloves, ear plugs/covers, mask, cleanroom suit)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience using an ERP/MRP system (Vantage highly desired)
- Manufacturing environment experience preferred
