Job Summary
Planner to schedule repairs and allocate work to operatives and subcontractors, monitor daily progress, and ensure timely completion to a high standard. Acts as the key liaison between residents, operatives, and colleagues, supporting IT systems usage, maintaining records for audits, and contributing to KPI performance. Responsibilities include scheduling, prioritising emergency/urgent jobs, coordinating with administrators and contractors, covering for other planners when needed, and assisting with reporting and service improvements. Roles emphasize customer-focused, compliant repairs service delivery and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- GCSE (or equivalent) in English & Maths
- Experience in fast-paced, pressurised environment
- Strong IT skills with the ability to use job management and scheduling systems
- Knowledge of repairs and maintenance processes
- Experience scheduling and planning multi-trade repairs using an ICT appointing tool
