Job Summary
The Planner is responsible for collaborating with planners, architects, and project team members on resort, residential, mixed-use, and urban planning projects. Key responsibilities include conducting research and analysis, coordinating planning activities, producing detailed drawings and design sketches, and directing less experienced team members. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields and a minimum of 4 years of related experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp. The role involves building knowledge in various planning disciplines and ensuring work quality aligns with company standards. WATG values teamwork and effective communication with clients.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in planning, urban design/planning, architecture, or landscape architecture
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in planning, urban design/planning, or resort planning
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp
Desired Qualifications
- Working toward a professional registration, such as AICP
- Environmental accreditation preferred
- Knowledge of Rhino and Revit
- Basic database knowledge and experience in GIS geodatabases, Microsoft Access, or SQL
- Basic Knowledge and experience with Midjourney and any latest AI tool
