Job Summary
Review specifications to ensure customer requirements are met and verify purchase orders for process compliance. Develop step-by-step work instructions for manufacturing complex machine details and aircraft component assemblies. Analyze drawings and models to determine configuration changes, determine need for sketches and aids, comprehend MRP data to maintain databases and generate work orders, and create certification documents for flow-down of information and evidence of conformance. Plan and schedule workflow across departments according to established sequences and lead times; provide technical support to internal teams and outsourcing vendors.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in manufacturing/operations
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings and models
- Familiarity with MRP systems and work order/documentation generation
- Ability to create detailed work instructions for manufacturing and assembly of complex components
