Job Summary

Submit, manage, and monitor streetworks permits through the Street Manager system while ensuring all permits remain compliant with scheme requirements. Attend local authority coordination meetings to discuss ongoing works and liaise with Highway Authorities regarding permit restrictions and planned activities. Work closely with Site Managers to schedule traffic management, monitor progress against approved dates, and arrange necessary permit extensions or variations. Coordinate LENS notices, manage access permissions with landowners, and identify planning conflicts to minimize programme impacts. This role supports the delivery of projects across the Yorkshire Water Capital Delivery Contract, requiring proven experience with the Street Manager system and strong IT literacy.

Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a Utilities Planner, Streetworks Coordinator, or similar planning role
  • Proven experience using the Street Manager system
  • Strong understanding of streetworks permitting and local authority requirements
  • High level of IT literacy, including: Microsoft Excel
  • High level of IT literacy, including: Microsoft Word
  • High level of IT literacy, including: Microsoft Outlook
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
