Job Summary
Planner responsible for contributing to forecast and master scheduling within capacity constraints to ensure on-time shipments. Will review shortages with Manufacturing, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Quality and Manufacturing Engineering; provide inputs to updates on schedule attainment and manage the master schedule and forecast (30/90/91+). Focus on leveling load to drive improvements in inventory, fulfillment, cycle time, and capacity management; utilize ERP systems to manage material flow and work prioritization; identify dependencies and critical paths; collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Production and Site Leadership to reduce costs and cycle times and determine line rates. Requires strong MRP/ERP experience (preferably IFS ERP Apps 7+), advanced Excel/Office skills, and extensive scheduling/planning background. Education: Bachelor's degree in related field; 5+ years of scheduling planning ERP experience; Masters/MBA preferred or equivalent work experience. EEO employer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or Management/Operations (minimum)
- 5+ years progressive experience in Scheduling/Planning ERP Systems (mandatory)
- Strong MRP and Projectized MRP skills and disciplines
- Strong knowledge of ERP Systems, preferably IFS ERP Apps 7 and higher
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point and/or Access) for data analysis
- Experience with shortage generation/tracking, capacity planning, inventory management and procurement
- Excellent interpersonal communication and listening ability
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead teams and influence decision-making in a team environment
- Highly motivated, results oriented, driven
