Job Summary
Execute planning activities as the focal point for communication with BU and Operations leaders, designing reports on forecast and inventory while coordinating the Sales & Operations Planning Process. Own supply review meetings to balance demand and supply, manage capacity levels, and mitigate escalated issues to debottleneck supply chain operations. Maintain standardized operating procedures, engage in NPI activities, and measure local entity planners. Travel globally to support these initiatives. This role supports CommScope's Building & Campus business in delivering enterprise networking infrastructure across offices, campuses, and large venues.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Two or more years of validated experience in supply and operations
- Experience with ERP and reporting tools
- MS Office – Excel knowledge
- Strong analytical abilities
- Knowledge of production control systems, specifically SAP
- Ability to travel globally
- Location in Claremont, N.C. Facility or Reynosa, Mexico
Desired Qualifications
- A completed associate's or bachelor's degree in business administration/management
- Knowledge of production control systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present in large groups
- Understanding and interacting with sales teams, suppliers, and production teams
- Background in master scheduling, forecasting, procurement and planning
- Strong communication, teamwork and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to interact and influence personnel of various levels and disciplines effectively
- Self-starter, high level of personal accountability, and innovative individual
- APICS (American Production & Inventory Control) certification and/or CPIM (Certified Production and Inventory Management) and CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certifications
- Experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) tool
