Job Summary
Plan and assign work within the material fabrication area, directly supervising daily activities and work priorities for Fab Department employees. Implement policies and procedures while recommending improvements to fabrication methods, equipment, operating procedures, and working conditions. Assist with technical problems by recommending solutions and process improvements. Provide input into hiring, firing, performance appraisals, and pay reviews for personnel. Achieve area fabrication targets per plans under moderate supervision with latitude for independent judgment.
