Job Summary
Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer requirements and business objectives while monitoring performance to adjust for changing priorities. Collaborate with manufacturing, purchasing, and customer service to resolve scheduling and material issues, analyzing capacity, inventory, and demand to optimize workflow. Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and production efficiency. This role works closely with operations to balance resources and maximize manufacturing efficiency. Based in Danielson, CT, the Planner supports SPIROL's global approach to engineered metal fasteners across automotive, aerospace, and green energy sectors.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in production planning, scheduling or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
- Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business or a related field preferred
