Job Summary
Build and maintain the integrated P6 schedule spanning engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning with logic reflecting real delivery. Run the progress cycle through field walk-downs, partner updates, and monthly re-baselining governance, challenging optimistic claims with installed-quantity evidence. Analyze critical and near-critical paths, model recovery scenarios with cost/feasibility input, and integrate contractor and vendor schedules to audit logic and defend milestones. Produce schedule health reporting including lookaheads, trend charts, and critical-path narratives for weekly and monthly rhythm. This role is on-site in Corpus Christi, TX, requiring regular presence during construction and commissioning peaks.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of planning/scheduling on large capital projects
- Expert-level Primavera P6: multi-thousand-activity programs, resource/cost loading, and baseline management
- Schedule quality rigor - DCMA-style health checks, logic auditing, and an allergy to open ends and soft constraints
- Experience integrating and challenging contractor and vendor schedules, including defending your critical path against theirs
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field
- Regular site presence during construction and commissioning peaks (typically 25-50%)
