Job Summary
Planner/Scheduler 1 is responsible for planning and scheduling activities within Haas' operations. Responsibilities include scheduling of sales orders and changes to customer orders, implementing Engineering Releases, coordinating with Sales on production priorities, maintaining and analyzing the production schedule, addressing floor issues (COGI, BOM errors, inventory accuracy), releasing production orders, managing part shortages, performing capacity analysis, and maintaining BOM structures and routings. Proficiency with ERP systems (especially SAP) and a solid understanding of MRP concepts, BOMs, and ERs are required. The role also involves general manufacturing floor support and collaboration across departments, with a focus on maintaining workflow and quality.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems especially SAP
- Knowledge of MRP, BOM, routing, ERs and production scheduling
- Ability to analyze production floor issues and respond appropriately
- Ability to coordinate with Sales and Production teams
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
