Job Summary
Planner role responsible for managing production schedules for assigned projects, creating detailed shop orders, monitoring part availability and shortages, coordinating with Expeditor and Purchasing to ensure on-time production and delivery, and facilitating ECRs. Requires ability to read engineering drawings, Bills of Materials and engineering change orders, and strong ERP/MRP/Office software skills.
Required Qualifications
- 4 year degree or 2 year degree/certificate with direct production planning experience/training in a manufacturing environment
- read and interpret engineering drawings, engineering specifications, bills of material and engineering change orders
- excellent computer skills including MRP/ERP system and Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel; Oracle system experience a plus
