Job Summary
Assist the Manager, Real Estate Planning and Development and the Real Estate Department Staff in advancing redevelopment of SEPTA properties through the Transit Oriented Communities (TOC) program; conduct research and analyses of local, state, and federal transit/transportation policies; coordinate planning efforts with SEPTA departments and external entities; evaluate feasibility of SEPTA property redevelopment; organize property surveys and pre-development inquiries; prepare memos and staff communications; participate in public meetings; visit field locations to support TOC/Real Estate projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Urban, Regional or Transportation Planning, Geography, Business or Public Administration or related field
- Three (3) years of related planning or real estate experience required, preferably in the transit industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in ArcGIS or other GIS software, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
