Job Summary
Manage Work Order management, software and hardware expediting, change processing, and work completion close-out while interrogating Team Center. Interface with Operations, Engineering, Design, Material Systems, Configuration Management, and Quality teams to align schedules and processes. Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, Cost, Schedule, and Process Improvement attributes. Requires proficiency in Electronic Desktop, MRPII, ERS, and Team Center, along with blueprint reading and organizational skills. Available for 1st or 2nd shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in a Planning/Production Control role
- Available for 1st or 2nd shifts
Desired Qualifications
- College degree highly desirable
- Working knowledge of Electronic Desktop/PCM, MRPII, ERS, Team Center, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
- Technical schooling or job experience in one of the following disciplines: Electrical, Mechanical, Piping, Sheetmetal/HVAC, Shipwrights and Structural
- Prior shipyard or submarine experience
- Blueprint reading skills
- PC computer skills
- Organizational skills
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Team Center experience in Production Control
- Proficiency in reading structural blueprints
- Work Order management
