Job Summary
Generate district work plans and schedules to ensure resources meet workload demands, including new business, compliance, mandated work, system reliability, and maintenance projects. Create and maintain short and long-term staffing models and forecasting to improve operational efficiency. Monitor current and future workload to maximize productivity while controlling costs and meeting service level agreements. Provide contingency plans to rebalance workload and evaluate procedures to recommend improvements in planning and scheduling. Prepare weekly and monthly status reports for management and coordinate with Compliance Coordinators for mandated program distribution. This role requires emergency restoration assignments and travel between MA, CT, and NH, with a salary range of $97,390 to $108,210.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, related discipline or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years in Gas Operations or related field
- Working and technical knowledge of specific Distribution departmental activities including construction standards, operating and maintenance procedures and regulations related to Distribution field activity
- Ability to use PC desktop applications (e.g. Microsoft Office, Work Management and spreadsheets)
- Strong analytical skills and demonstrated skill in workload planning and resource allocation
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary
- This position is categorized as safety-sensitive for the purpose of drug testing
- Successful applicants shall be subject to a pre-assignment drug test if the individual is currently in a non-safety sensitive position
- As an employee in this position the individual shall be subject to random drug testing
