Job Summary
Select and sequence jobs based on MPS-driven demand, then maintain daily manufacturing build plans and run/setup times. Meet weekly with Contracts to assign planner responsibilities and review pending demands. Manage overall workload to align resources, while driving communications between planning, project accounting, and project management for consistent Material EACs and Execution Charts. Create forward-looking plans for purchase requisitions, monitor material deliveries, and ensure raw materials are available per schedule. Highlight critical parts or issues impacting MPS, and consolidate demand for purchase orders. Review schedules to ensure outside services are planned and monitored.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience
- Solid understanding of business processes and functional inter-relationships
- Strong background in project material management
- Extensive experience in production planning
- Skilled in the use of Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, Power Point, Word, as well as Sharepoint
- Strong understanding of MRP systems
- U.S. Citizenship
- Active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment
