Planner, Journeyman - TS/SCI

Job Summary
Coordinate travel arrangements, develop trip books and agendas, and compile read-ahead materials for meetings and conferences at Joint Base Andrews and the Pentagon. Schedule briefers, manage logistics including itineraries and transportation, and process travel vouchers in DTS. Track and report attendee status, travel order status, and performance metrics while engaging stakeholders on travel-related items. Handle confidential Secret/TS-SCI information and correspondence. Work onsite five days per week with some hybrid weeks, requiring ability to travel CONUS 1 to 2 times per quarter.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS Clearance with SCI eligibility
- A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
- At least 3 years of DoD conference planning experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Joint Federal Travel Regulation (JFTR) and Privacy Act regulations
- Ability to travel (CONUS) 1 to 2 times per quarter
- Proficient in computer-based communication/office IT tools including but not limited to, the following: Microsoft (MS) Office Suite – Word, Power Point, SharePoint, Excel, TEAMS; Adobe (both reader and Pro)
- Ability to learn software packages used by the DAF
- Public speaking – capable of delivering briefs, speaking in meetings in person and online, and giving presentations
- Ability to move or traverse throughout a large, secure facility and between multiple work areas
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands, wrists and fingers
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer
- Secret
Desired Qualifications
- 6 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree
- Associate degree plus 4 years of relevant work experience may be substituted for a BA/BS degree
