Job Summary
Planner III-3 responsible for transforming customer demand into optimized production plans across one or more product families. You will analyze customer demand to create the Master Production Schedule, monitor KPIs (On-Time Delivery, Schedule Attainment, backorders, inventory health, capacity utilization), and lead cross-functional planning forums (SIOP/S&OP, LR Planning, CRP). The role requires strong data-driven decision making, advanced Excel and ERP usage (Oracle preferred), and the ability to mentor other planners. You will collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Customer Operations, Finance, and Leadership to balance service, inventory, and cost, while upholding safety, environmental, security, and quality requirements (QMS, FDA Regulations). The position may involve mid- to long-term planning horizons and ownership of planning standards, metrics, and escalation actions. Advanced communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (desired)
- At least four years of relevant experience in supply chain planning (or more than five years if education requirement is not met)
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
- Working experience in a manufacturing environment (Medical devices desired)
- Strong Excel skills and computer literacy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to lead and coach others
- Ability to analyze data to drive decisions and improvements
- Awareness of demand planning, capacity planning, and inventory management
- Experience with SIOP / S&OP processes and planning metrics
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and QMS is a plus
- Ability to collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Engineering, Customer Operations, Finance, and Leadership
