Job Summary
Manage deadlines, ensure accurate MRP signals, and coordinate work orders with operations and manufacturing. Assist Operations by clearing production hurdles, monitoring parts through manufacturing processes, and expediting as required. Navigate standard reports within EBS to provide analytics on WIP and inventory while tracking schedule performance and risk analyses. Recommend solutions to reduce production costs and improve processes, acting as the escalation point for Production Coordinators. Engage in continuous improvement projects, maintain 5S standards, and adhere to safety and ISO procedures. This role supports SIG SAUER's supply chain operations for firearms, electro-optics, and training solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business or related field
- 0-3 years of experience working in manufacturing supply chain
- strong understanding of supply chain management concepts
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- previous experience with ERP systems (especially Oracle)
- ability to clearly, concisely, and accurately convey ideas and information to others, both verbally and in written form
- ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files
- ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Must follow all required Safety and ISO procedures
- Must comply with all work exposure EH&S training requirements and adhere to SIG SAUER Inc. Security Mandates
