Job Summary
Prepare for and execute single and multi-day site visits to inventory facilities on military installations, including the US Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard. Complete checklists based on in-person observations and update floorplans in AutoCAD to document existing uses. Perform data entry using Microsoft Access and engage with clients and stakeholders via phone and email. This hourly, nonexempt position offers a flexible hybrid schedule with two days per week remote work and occasional overnight travel. Requires a Bachelor's degree, one year of experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud. MAKERS, a 50-year-old woman-owned small business leader in federal planning, supports a team of six to eight people including remote collaboration with staff in San Diego.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- One or more years of experience in a professional setting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Creative Cloud programs
- Management skills for large data sets requiring attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a project-based consulting environment
- Proven organizational skills with a focus on efficiency and timely execution
- Valid driver's license
