Job Summary
Planner role requiring a solid foundation in warehouse distribution mechanics and logistics software. The candidate should have experience with JDA/Blue Yonder (or comparable Tier-1 WMS), be proficient with Google Sheets/Workspace for data tracking, and possess at least 2 years in a fast-paced warehousing environment. Key responsibilities include wave planning, tendering and dispatch, and optimizing freight configurations. Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, plus effective verbal and written communication to coordinate with warehouse operations, inventory teams, and external carriers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a fast-paced warehousing or distribution center environment.
- Proven experience utilizing JDA / Blue Yonder (or a closely comparable Tier-1 WMS) is highly preferred.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets and other Google Workspace services (Docs, Drive, Gmail) for data tracking and communication.
- Strong background in order distribution strategies and wave planning mechanics.
- Hands-on experience with carrier tendering, dispatching protocols, and transportation scheduling.
- Excellent analytical skills to troubleshoot inventory blocks and optimize freight configurations on the fly.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with warehouse floor operations, inventory teams, and external carriers.
