Job Summary
Conduct research and prepare planning documents, reports, studies, and permit applications. Support land use, community, and infrastructure planning projects. Assist with stakeholder coordination and agency communication. Prepare layouts, planning graphics, and data analyses (GIS experience helpful). Contribute to proposals, presentations, and internal project documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Geography, Public Administration, Architecture, Engineering, or related field
- 3+ years of professional planning experience, ideally in Hawaiʻi
- Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills
- Familiarity with Hawaiʻi planning, zoning, and entitlement processes
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage tasks, and collaborate effectively
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; GIS experience preferred
